Windows XP Tips – Customize the Send To menu option

In Windows XP on right click of any files the system will display a context menu with Send To menu option. On clicking Send To menu option, the system will display Compressed (Zipped)Folder, Desktop (Create Shortcut) e.t.c. And if you want to include your working or project folder in this option then all you have to do is

  • Navigate to Send To folder under Document Settings => Logged on User => Send To folder.
  • Create a new shortcut for the folder where you want to send your files. This can be done by right clicking inside the Send To folder and select New Shortcut option and create a shortcut for My Working folder and complete the wizard.

Now when you right click on files, you will notice the My Working folder  appearing on the Send To menu list.
