DeLorme’s EarthMate GPS PN-20 - low cost handheld GPS receiver

Delorme which is a specialist in Mapping, GPS and GIS technologies has now introduced a GPS receiver known as EarthMate GPS PN-20. This is a low cost device integrated with Maps and Aerial downloads along with the GPS functionality. This measures 2.43″ W x 5.25″ H x 1.5″ D and weighs 5.12 ounces only. This is built with PX-7 waterproof standard and impact-resistant rubberized housing. PN-20 has a bright color screen and can work in bright sunlight to total darkness. This features a SD card slot and runs in two AA batteries. This is built with a STMicroelectronics chipset and works well under dense foliage. This allows users to select either map or imagery type to view their GPS location. This has 75MB of internal flash memory and it is preloaded with world base map. This is price around $370.
