Increase blog traffic by reducing google Supplimental Index
John chow had recently posted in his blog that getting out of supplimental index increases blog traffic, and this is exactly what I have planned to. And let us see the result in 3 weeks whether this actually works.
As on May 25 2007, google analytics for techno masala is shown below and you find that number of visitors is just 32 only.
And using SEO for Firefox plugin the following stats were displayed for my blog.
This shows that techno masala has around 688 pages in supplimental index which is too many for small blog like mine. And ofcourse my Alexa ranking is bit misleading it is actually 817,532 and not just 817. And I have followed the instructions i.e replaced my existing robots.txt with this one and also installed the duplicate core plugin to get some pages out of supplimental index.
Hope this increases my blog traffic. !!!!
