Windows Vista - How to block websites using parental control
Window Vista has an option for blocking access to web sites using Parental Controls. This can be accessed by clicking the Control Panel link followed by Parental Control option. From this option you can select the user account for which the access restriction needs to be applied.
Select the On option for the Parental Controls section. This would enable the Web Restrictions and on navigating through Web Restriction link, the following screen will be displayed.
selecting Block some websites or content would enable the Edit the Allow and Block list.
Using the above screen you can either block or allow access to specific sites.
A very useful features that can put to use effectively by all parent ;-).

How do I block myspace and aol from my computer without using parental controls so that even administrators can’t access them either? Also how do I block specific sites without disrupting access to other sites using parental controls? Every time I try to do it through parental controls it also blocks sites that wasn’t intended to.
Hi there,
can’t find parental control in windows vista busines, controll panel. any guess
thanks in advance.

Windows Vista Business does NOT have parental control
this wasnt really useful cos when i tried to block some websites it told me
“parental controls cant be applied to your own acount…”
which is stupid, as i dont want to create other acounts just to block websites.
anyway, if someone knows how to get around it, let me know pls
thanks
