BlackBerry 8800 is the thinnest ever SmartPhone from BlackBerry. This is just 14mm thickness and has all functionality of the previous versions along with the built-in GPS feature and measures 114mm x 66mm x 14mm and weighs just 134g.
Some of the salient features of this phone are that this supports email accounts of most of the ISP’s, Microsoft Exchange and IBM Lotus Domino. Supports instant messaging client like MSN, AOL, Google Talk, Yahoo and ICQ. The organizer capabilities include calendar, address book, alarm clock, to-do list and other useful applications. This offers voice activated dialing, conference calling, speed dialing and call forwarding. The Multi-Media player supports file format like MP3, AAC Audio, MPEG4 and H.263 Video. The battery included is a 1400mAhr Lithium and provides up to 528 hours of standby time. The SmartPhone can be charged using the mini-USB cable or the included AC Adapter. The uniqueness of this phone is the trackball navigation system making the system more intuitive to the user.
