Problem creating archives pages in WordPress 2.7

If you have problem in creating Archives page for your blog after upgrading WordPress 2.7, then the following steps might resolve the issue

Go to Manage themes in WordPress Admin section
Select another theme other than the current theme
Click on the Pages section and edit the archive page
The following attributes should be displayed

5. Select the default template as Archives and click on Update Pages.

6. Now change your theme to the original theme.
