If you have more than one browser installed in your PC and if you want to make Google Chrome as your default browser, then you can do this by clicking Set as default button appearing at the top of the Google Chrome browser as shown below.
The other alternate way to make Google Chrome as default browser by using the options menu and click on the Make Google Chrome my default browser under the basic tab.
