i have internet explorer 8 but when i go to Tools -> Internet Options -> General tab – All i see is Home page, temporary internet files, history. I don’t see tab?
I wich that it realy was possible to chnage the new tab open behavior but you can’t. There is no way to get it to do it right like IE7 did, like firefox (with pluggin does), like Opera Does, Like Chrome Does. In other words open a new tab to the imediate right of the current one regardless of anything else.
This is a major Design error in IE8 and it has been reported for a year now. IS MS completly ignorant to their users needs or is it the true wich of MS that everyone should be forceed by MS to use Firefox?
When I set my new tab to ‘about:tab’ which I want, it goes back to ‘about:blank’ . I don’t want the blank tab, i want the tab page with the links on it. Anyone know how i can change this through the registry? Obviously, it won’t stay to what I set it to the settings in the tab section.
i think a couple people mentioned it but is it possible to show the most recent websites you’ve been to on the new tabs like in IE7?? it was much better that way.
