The default fonts available for Command Window in Window Vista are Lucida Console and Raster Fonts. If you want to change the font to Consolas then you can do so by editing the registry settings.
Add the following data value under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\Console\TrueTypeFont
After adding the above Consolas value the registry key values should display as shown below.
Then restart the sever for the changes to take effect. Now to change the Command Window font, Click on the Command Window properties and select Font tab
and from the Font list select Consolas. Click Ok button to save the changes. The Command Window would now display the select Font “Consolas“
