There are different ways available in Windows Vista to find out the System Type i.e 32-bit Operating System Type or 64-bit Operating System Type. One of the way is to access the System information using the Control Panel.
Click on the Control Panel followed by System and Maintenance and select System link. This should display the following screen with System information.
Under System section, the System type displays the Operating System type information.
