When you delete any items in Microsoft Outlook, they are moved to the deleted items folder. There is an option available as part of Outlook 2007 to empty the deleted items folder automatically when ever you exit Outlook Application. The settings can be accessed using Outlook Tools Options menu.
Click Tools –> Options –> Other tab
Select the check box “Empty the deleted items folder upon existing” under the General Section.
Click Apply and then OK to save the changes.
