Latest software updates for Nokia N97 mini phones can be done using Phone setup option. It is important to install the latest software/firmware updates from Nokia regularly.
Click on the Menu button on your Nokia N97 mini mobile phone.
Select Applications
Select Phone setup
Select SW update from the menu list, this would show the list of updates available for your mobile phone
Select the update to be installed and touch the install icon (first icon from the left hand side). This should prompt you with the following screen. Select Now to start the installation.
The following screens would be displayed, accept to proceed after taking the necessary backup
After installation, the phone would be restarted after doing the required software update.
