Microsoft Word 2010 allows users take screen capture of any open windows and insert them in to the word document. This can be done by using the Insert Screenshot option available as apart of the Insert Ribbon menu
On clicking the Screenshot menu, you would be provided with option of selecting the open windows that needs to be inserted. In the below picture, the Date and time window has been selected and this would be inserted.
Instead of inserting the whole window, you can also insert part of the screen into the document using the Screen Clipping option
