In this tutorial we are going to see the steps required to remove “Sent from my iPad” message and add email signatures for each mail accounts on iPad
Remove “Sent from my iPad” message
When you are sending email from an iPad, Sent from my iPad signature is automatically added at the end of the email. This message can be removed using the Mail Settings options available as part of iPad.
Touch the settings menu from the list of menu options as part of the Home iPad home screen.
In the Settings screen, Navigate to Mail, Contacts, Calendars option and then to the Signature option.
This would display the following Signature information with Sent from my iPad message. Now click the Clear button to remove this message. After this change any email sent from iPad will not get automatically appended with the Sent from my iPad message.
Add email signatures for each mail accounts on iPad
iOS device allows users to configure multiple email accounts using the Mail Accounts feature. The Mail feature also provides option to add different signature for each mail account. We had earlier seen the steps required for removing Sent from my iPhone message. Similarly to add different signature for each mail accounts you can follow the below mentioned steps.
Step 1: Press Menu button on iPad and access Home screen.
Step 2: Tap the Settings icon on the Home screen.
Step 3: Navigate to Mail, Contacts, Calendars under Settings screen.
Step 4: In the Mail, Contacts, Calendars screen tap the Signature option.
Step 5: The Signature section should provide an option to configure email signature on Per Account basis. Change the Signature setting from All Accounts to Per Account. Then enter signature for each accounts configured on your iPad.
The same steps can be followed for adding different signatures for each mail accounts on your iPhone as well.
