Change the default search engine on iPhone 4S

This tutorials is about the steps required to change the default search engine of the Safari browser on iPhone. The default search engine on iPhone is set as Google and if you want to change the search engine then you can use the option available as part of the Safari settings.

Step 1: Press the menu button to launch the Home screen.

Step 2: Tap the Settings icon on the iPhone Home screen.

Step 3: In the Settings screen, scroll down and tap the Safari option.

Step 4: The Safari screen will display the currently set Search Engine under the General section.

Step 5: Navigating to the Search Engine option will display the list of available search engines. For example if you want to change the search engine from Google to Bing then tap the Bing option.

Now whenever you make any search in the Safari browser, Bing will be used for performing the searches.
