Change the display language in Windows 8.1 Pro

This short tutorial explains the steps required to change display language of a Windows 8.1 Pro system. This feature is quite useful when you have purchased a laptop from a different county and want to change the display language to your native language. Listed below are the steps for changing the language from US English to Hindi.

Step 1: Access Control Panel by right clicking on the Windows icon.

Step 2: In the Control Panel window, navigate to Clock, Language and Region option.

Step 3: Click Language option in Clock, Language and Region screen.

This should display the Change your language preferences screen.

Step 4: If your preferred language is not displayed then click Add a language to pick it from the available languages list.

Step 5: Move up your language of Preferences to change the display language.

Step 6: Please make sure to install the required language pack by clicking the Options link.

Step 7: Restart your Windows 8.1 system to apply the changes to display language.
