Change the Keyboard Style in Android Smartphone

Android OS’s flexibility and variety is what makes it stand out from the rest. If you are using the same keyboard over and over again, here is a big alert for you- the keyboard style on your LG Optimus X2 handset can be changed. You can choose from a variety of keyboard options plus install new keyboard skins. This is a real eye candy for Android users…

One brilliant source of finding new keyboard installations is Better Keyboards (http://betterandroid.wordpress.com/2010/07/07/better-keyboard-7-0-beta/). Try downloading some Keyboard Skins from there and you will be amazed to watch it working on your handset.

Now to switch to a different keyboard, follow the steps below:

1. Go to Main Menu-> Settings and then navigate to Language and Keyboards.

2. If you have a custom keyboard installed, you will see an option to toggle it on and off with a check box. To change the default keyboard, go to Input Method and then select the Keyboard you wish to use.

3. Press the Home button to exit.

Now to test it’s usage, open a message box and you will be able to confirm whether the new settings are applied.

  • Whats up this is kind of of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding expertise so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!
