How to change the timezone on Mac OS

This is a simple tip on how to change the timezone on your Mac OS system. Mac users can change the timezone using the System Preferences.

Launch System Preferences and navigate to System section and click the Date & Time option

In the Date & Time window, click the Time Zone tab

To set your time zone, choose your location on the map. For example if you want to set the Time Zone as Central Daylight Time then choose any city on the United States map with Central Daylight Time as Time Zone.
