Listed below are steps for clearing browsing history, passwords and cookies on Google Chrome. The windows shortcut for accessing Clear Browsing Data settings is Ctrl + Shift + Del. Another alternate way is menu option –> Settings –> History –> Clear Browsing Data

The Clear browsing data window is displayed as shown below

Using the Clear browsing data window, users can clear browsing history, download history, cookies, cached images, passwords etc. After selecting/deselecting those option click Clear browsing data button.

Specify the time for clearing history

If you want to delete past 1 week of browser history and not everything then you can use the time period drop down to specify your choice.

    Click&Clean is an extension for Google Chrome, it allows you clear browsing history even when Chrome closes!
