This tutorial covers the step by step instruction for setting up your Google Apps Mail Account in Outlook 2010.
In order to configure Google Apps mail account in Outlook, you need to download and install Google Apps Sync for Outlook. After installing, click Start menu then navigate and and Set up a Google Apps Sync user
This would display the following Please Sign-in to Google Apps Sync window, enter your Google Account credential and click on the Continue button.
In the Set Up Google Apps Sync for Microsoft Outlook window tick the checkbox Import data from as existing profile if you want to import the data.
To continue with the setup, click the Create Profile button. Once the setup is complete the following confirmation message will be displayed.
Click the Start Microsoft Outlook button and then select required Outlook Profile. If you want to make this as your Default Profile then click the Options button and tick the checkbox with label as Set as default profile.
The following Synchronization Status window will be displayed. If you do not want this status window to be displayed when starting Microsoft Outlook then un tick checkbox Open this window when Microsoft Outlook Starts
