Enabling the Flight Mode in Samsung Wave II

Are you on work or busy in a meeting? Maybe it’s time you disable connectivity, but without shutting down the mobile phone or making it do all those lazy vibrations in your pocket. The Flight mode can do them all in such a beautiful way that your caller will hardly be able to recognize that it’s you who do not want them to disturb! The Flight mode was initially developed for activating the “do not disturb” services while in airplane or any place where radio interference can’t be tolerated, but nowadays people make use of it almost everywhere.

To enable Flight Mode services, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the Main Menu button, and go to Settings menu by clicking on Settings icon.

  2. Look for the Flight Mode option. It should be the first option in the Settings Page.
  3. Just click on the button beside Flight Mode, and wait for it to activate/ turn green. That’s it! Your Flight Mode is now active.

Now you must be wondering- “How can I confirm the Flight Mode is active?” The answer is pretty simple- just look at the signal strength indicator at the top-left corner of the screen. You will find an airplane symbol instead of the indicator. It means that incoming signals are blocked to your mobile phone. This will also de-activate Bluetooth functioning.
