Microsoft Word 2013 & Word 2010 has a feature that allows users to Find and replace bold and italics style in word document. This is a quite useful feature when you want to do a mass replacement of the style.

In Word Document, navigate to Editing section and click Find menu option and select Advanced Find from the menu list.

In the Find and Replace window, navigate to Format section and select Font from the drop down list.

In the Find Font window, navigate to Font style and select Bold Italic from the list. Click OK to confirm the selection.

The Find and Replace window would now reflect the selection made under the Format section as Font:Bold, Italic

Entering the words in Find What text box and clicking Find Next button would locate the words whose Font style is set to Bold and Italic as specified in the search.
