Find your lost Android Device – Android Device Manager

Android Device Manager is a feature that is available on your android phone. If this isn’t available you could download this app from the play store. Android Device Manager once enabled on your phone makes it easy to locate, ring, or wipe your device from the web.

To enable this go to Settings -> Security where you can see Device administrators, tap on that and select Android Device Manager from the next screen.

This feature is most used when your device is lost. You could wipe out all your phone numbers, notes, photos and other personal related data. Make sure you enable this feature on your phone. You could test this by going to findMyMobile

Find My Mobile

This requires login credentials, create one if you don’t have or use your existing login. Once you login you can see the registered device on the left side with the model number and your mobile number (if provided already). The other options you could see under the heading Remote Controls are locate my device, lock my device, ring my device, call logs, wipe my device and unlock my screen.

Grand 2 Remote Controls

Click on Ring my device; from there click on Ring button, this will make your phone ring. You could also display a message up to 40 characters. You could also check the Call logs. Locate my device will help you show your phones location on the map (this requires GPS to be enabled.). Wipe my device would erase all your data from the phone.

You can also try it from Device Manager
