Google web accelerator makes web pages load faster

Google web accelerator an another application which is a product of Google labs that helps to load web pages faster. It does this my maintaining a cache of the web pages visited and it downloads only the changed web pages from the web site.  It also manages the computer’s Internet connection to reduce the delay and also compresses the data before sending it. Google web accelerator won’t speed up HTTPS pages and downloading of large files like MP3. It has a small indicator at top of the browser which tells the time (seconds) it had saved while loading the page.

My Experience

I tried this tool and I could definitely notice faster loading of web pages, but still need to evaluate for a week and see and how it performs.

Just after posting this I accessed my blog and was surprised to note that the new post was missing. It appeared only after reloading the page. 🙂
