Apply different text effects in Word 2013 and Word 2010

Word 2013 and Word 2010 provide different text effects that can be used to format the text you type or any selected text in the document. This can be done using the Font dialog box.

To display the font dialog box you either press Ctrl + D or option available as part of the menu as sown below

In the Font dialog box, click on the Text Effects button available at the bottom of the dialog box.

In the Format Text Effects dialog box, you can select different  text effects as per your need. The various text effects that are available are Text Fill, Text Outline, Outline Style, Shadow, Reflection, Glow and Soft Edges and 3-D format. You cam also customize these effects using the option provided as part of this feature.
