How to automatically open a application in a Maximized window

In Windows Operating System, when you open any application by default it will run in Normal Window. Most of the time we would need to maximize the application window before using that application. This extra step of maximizing the window can be reduced by specifying the application to always automatically open in Maximize window.

For example if you want to set this for Adobe Reader, Right click on the application shortcut and select Properties

Application Shortcut Window

Navigate to Shortcut tab and in the Run drop down select Maximized value from the list of dropdown values. This would set the application to always open in Maximized window. This can be done for any application such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook etc.
