How to change slide orientation in PowerPoint 2010

In this tutorial we will see how to change the slide orientation in PowerPoint 2010. PowerPoint allows users to change the slide orientation using the option available as part of the Design menu. When you want draw flowcharts and Org charts then you can use this feature to change the slide orientation based on your chart requirement.

Click the Design menu and navigate to Page Setup section.

Click the arrow pointing downward below for Slide Orientation and select Portrait or Landscape based on your requirement.

You can also change the Slide Orientation using Page Setup option.

Click the Page Setup and navigate to Orientation section. This has the option for changing the orientation for slide as well Notes, handouts & outline as shown in the above screenshot.

    Can you change the orientation for just a section of a larger PPT? I have some slides that I want in portrait but the rest landscape. I can’t seem to apply the portrait orientation to just a portion of the PPT.
