Change the default search engine in Safari browser on iPad

iPad 2 comes with the pre installed safari browser which has the default search engine set to Google. If you are big fan of Microsoft Bing search engine then you can change the default search engine to Bing using the iPad settings.

  • In the iPad home screen, tap the settings icon.
  • Navigate Safari settings and then to the General section.

  • Tap the Search Engine in General section. This would display the following the screen with list of available search engine.

  • Tap the Bing search engine in the displayed list.

By this way you can change the default search engine to Bing in iPad’s Safari browser.
