How to change the download location in Google Chrome

When ever a file is downloaded using Google Chrome, it gets saved in the default location specified in Google Chrome Settings. The default download location in Google Chrome can be changed by clicking on the wrench icon –> select Settings from the menu list

In the Settings page, click Show advanced settings which is available at the bottom of the screen.

Scroll down the Settings page until you reach the Downloads section.

The default download location is displayed below the Downloads label. Click the Change option to change the default download location.

You can also mark the check box Ask where to save each file before downloading. This prompt “Where you want to save the file ” each time a download is done using Google Chrome.
