How to copy slides in PowerPoint 2010

This is another short tutorial about the different ways a user PowerPoint 2010 can duplicate a slide. When you have customized your slide with unique background and transition and want to have the same feature for another slide then you can use the duplicate slide option. Duplicate slide feature allows users to make a copy of the selected slide.

Using Context Menu

The quickest way to duplicate a slide is by right clicking on the slide and selecting Duplicate Slide from the menu list.


Using Home Menu

Another alternative way to duplicate a slide is by using the option available as part of the Home menu. After selecting the slide, click Home menu and navigate to slides section. Then click the down arrow available below New Slide and select Duplicate Selected Slides from the menu list. This should create a copy of the selected slide.
