How to disable loading of pictures in Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer 9 (IE 9) provides users with option to automatically disable the loading of pictures from a webpage. This is similar to the article on how to disable loading of images automatically in Firefox. This feature will be useful when you want to load any webpage quickly and interested only in the text information of a webpage. To disable the display of pictures in Internet Explorer 9,

Click the Tools menu and select Internet Options from the menu list.


In the Internet Options window, navigate to Advanced tab and scroll down to Multimedia section.


In Multimedia section, un mark the checkbox with label as Show pictures. Click OK button to confirm and save the changes.

    In my e mail (windows mail) whren I used explorer 8 I could see pictures when someone sent them to me through my e mail. Since downloading explorer 9 I cannot open pics. Why? And how can I fix this problen or do I have to uninstall ( and go back to expolorer 8
