Excel users can use the options available as part of Sort & Filter to retrieve only unique values from large data set. Listed below are steps required to display the unique records in Excel 2007.
Step 1: Select the data set from which you want to find the unique records.
Step 2: Click the Data menu option and then navigate to Sort & Filter option.
Step 3: Now click the Filter option under Sort & Filter.
Step 4: Click the Advanced option and mark the checkbox with caption as Unique records only
This would filter out all the duplicate records and display unique records from the data set.
