How to export favourites from Internet Explorer 9

Internet Explorer 9 provides options for exporting the favourites. The favourites or bookmarks can be exported to file and by this way you can backup your Internet Explorer’s bookmarks. This can be done by the following ways

1. Using the Favourites menu



Click the drop down arrow next to Add to favorites. This would display the following menu list with Import and export option.


2. Using the File menu.

Click the File menu and select Import and export option from menu list.


In the following Import/Export settings, select Export to a file option and click Next to button.


Mark the check box with label as Favorites in What would you like to export screen. Click Next button to continue.


Select the Folder that you want to be export.


And then specify the path where you want the export the favourites then click the Export button.


After completion of exporting the favourites, the following finish screen would be displayed.
