How to find memory usage for each tab in Google Chrome

Google Chrome lets user to see the memory usage of individual tabs. This feature is helpful in finding out the web page that is actually taking more memory than the other pages. This memory usage utility in Google Chrome can be accessed using the Tools menu.

Right click wrench icon and navigate to the Tools menu.


Navigate to Tools sub menu then select Task Manager from the list of available menu.


This would launch the below Task Manager window displaying the memory usage for each tabs along with the Browser memory usage as a whole. The other details includes CPU and Network usage for each open tabs.


If you are interested to know more about the memory usage along process ids then you can click the Stats for nerds link. This would then open a new tab known as About memory as shown below.
