How to insert horizontal line in Word 2010

In this tutorial we will see how to quickly insert horizontal line in Word 2010. Word allows users to inset a horizontal line using the menu option available as part of the Paragraph section.

Navigate to Paragraph section available under the Home menu in Office Ribbon.


Click the menu option next to Shading menu and select Horizontal line from the drop down list.


This would insert a horizontal line in the Word document. If there is a need to insert more number of horizontal lines then you can add the menu option as part of Quick Access Toolbar.


You can do this by right clicking on the Horizontal Line and selecting Add to Quick Access Toolbar. Now you can quickly insert horizontal line using option available in Quick Access Toolbar.
