How to insert page number in Word Mac 2011

Word for Mac 2011 allows users to insert page number using the option provided as part of Document Elements. Click the Document Elements then navigate to Header and Footer section and click the Page # menu option. This would display the Page Numbers Option as shown below.


You can choose the place where you want to display the page number in Word Document using the Position drop down i.e Header or Footer.


The page number can also be aligned by choosing the desired values from the alignment drop down.


Similarly if you want to display the page number in the first page then tick the check box with label as Show number on first page.


Word for Mac 2011 provides users with option for formatting the page number. This can be done by click the Format button.
