How to insert to current date and time in Excel

In Excel , you can insert date and time using different formulas. Listed below are the steps to insert date, date and time and time in Excel 2016, 2013, Excel 2010 and Excel 2007

Insert date

Navigate to the cell where you want to insert date and type =TODAY()

Navigate to the cell where you want to insert date and and type =NOW()

Insert Time

Navigate to the cell where you want to insert time and and press Ctrl + Shift + : keys

    Fantastic! Simple, easy, and worked just as I needed it to! I needed the time stamp so I used =now() and formatted accordingly. 🙂
