How to remove duplicates values in Excel 2011

Excel 2011 for Mac has a feature that automatically removes duplicate values from the selected rows and columns. For this example, let us take the below sample data

Now you can see in the table that couple of rows are getting repeated.

You can remove these duplicate values by using the Remove Duplicates option available as part of Data column

Step 1: Select the rows and columns.

Step 2: Click the Data menu and navigate to Tools section.

Step 3: On clicking the Remove Duplicates option the following Remove Duplicates dialog box will be displayed.

If you are OK and want Excel to automatically remove the duplicates then click the Remove Duplicates button. Now the duplicate values will be removed automatically by Excel.
