How to search for more than one characters in Word

We had earlier seen on using wildcard in Find and Replace feature in Word 2016, 2013 & 2010. Similarly you can use this feature for searching more than one characters in a document. Let us see how to use wildcard search for finding question mark (?) or exclamation (!) in word document with the following text


Navigate to Editing section and select Advanced Find available under the Find menu option. In the Find What filed, enter [\?\!] and mark the check box with label as Use wildcards.


In the above screenshot to highlight the search results, the Reading Highlight option has been selected. And by this way, users can find and replace multiple characters in Word.
