How to turn off the popup toolbar in PowerPoint

In this short tutorial, we will see the steps required turn off popup toolbar in PowerPoint 2013 and 2010. PowerPoint displays a popup toolbar at the bottom of the screen during a full screen slide show. This toolbar can be used for navigating between the slides and also for apply annotations during the presentation.

PowerPoint provides user with an option to turn off this popup toolbar. This can be done using the PowerPoint Advanced Options. Click the file menu –> Options link and click the Advanced tab.

In Advanced Options, navigate to Slide Show section. To turn off the display of popup toolbar, un mark the checkbox with label as Show popup toolbar. After making the necessary changes, click OK button to confirm the changes.
