I am running Excel 2010. My formula bar is gone, and instead the name bar goes across the sheet. Under View, Formula Bar is checked.

I’m using Excel 2010. The first few characters are invisible in my formula bar. For instance – the cell says “Groceries”. The formula bar shows “ceries”. I unchecked and rechecked the formula bar box under view/show. Any ideas?
