How to unhide the status bar in Word Mac 2011

We had seen already about finding word count of a paragraph in Word for Mac 2011. As mentioned earlier, the status bar would be displaying live word count as we type. But in case if Word Mac 2011 does not display the status bar then you can unhide the status bar by the following method

Click the Word menu and select Preferences from the menu list.

Select View option displayed under the Authoring and Proofing Tools section in Word Preferences.

In the View Preferences window, navigate to Window section and tick the check box with label as Status bar. This would unhide the status bar in Word for Mac 2011. If you want the word count to be displayed on the status bar then make sure to mark the checkbox with label as Live Word Count.
