How to use Word as a PDF Converter

In this tutorial we are going to see the different ways to convert word document in to PDF in Word 2013 and Word 2010.

Convert document to PDF using Save As option.

Step 1: Open the word document that needs to be converted to PDF.

Step 2: Click File menu, select Save As from the menu list and double click on the Computer option.

Step 3:  In the Save As window, select PDF(*.pdf) for the Save as type dropdown list. Then enter filename and click Save button.

Convert word document to PDF using Export option

Step 1: Open the word document that needs to be converted to PDF.

Step 2: Click the File menu and select Export from the menu list.

Step 3: In the Export screen, select Create PDF/XPS Document and click Create a PDF/XPS Document from the menu list.

Step 4: In the Publish as PDF or XPS document, enter name for the PDF file and click Publish button.
