Insert total page numbers in header or footer using Word 2011

Word 2011 for Mac users can customise the header or footer to display total page numbers using Auto-text feature. Let us say you want to display Page X of Y where Y is total page numbers then you can follow the below mentioned steps.

Step 1: Insert header of footer in the Word document.

Step 2: Navigate to header or footer section where you want to add the total page numbers.


Step 3: Click Insert menu followed AutoText then navigate to Header/Footer and select Page X of Y from the menu list.


This should insert total page numbers in header or footer section as shown below.
