iPad mini – How to set privacy mode in Safari

If you want to browse the web so that it doesn’t get stored in history or cookies, set the privacy mode in Safari browser. When this mode is set the page you have surfed will not be stored in the history. This will be useful when you are checking your bank account details, checking your emails etc. This is very simple and let’s see how to do that,

Go to Settings -> select Safari app icon -> on the right side you can see Private Browsing set to OFF. Slide towards right so that it is now set to ON. Now open you Safari browser and browse any web page. Close the browser. Open again and type the starting letter of the web page you have last visited, say for e.g., HD (for HDFC Bank) this will not appear and you need to type hdfcbank.com.
