iPad mini – How to turn your iPad into a Digital photo frames

Updated – Picture Frame is not available as part of iOS 7

You might very well know about the usage of a digital photo frame, where it shows all the images that are being loaded into the device as a slideshow. You can turn your iPad as a Digital photo frame to make it show all the images as a slideshow. Just follow the below simple step, lock you iPad and click the menu button (the step you will take to unlock your iPad). Don’t slide to unlock, you can see a small icon next to the unlock icon – this will be like a flower in a frame.

When you click that icon it will start showing the images and this will run as a slideshow until you stop it. The images are pulled from your Photos of your iPad. This also allows you to change the transition effect, set the time interval to pause between each image etc.

Let’s see how to change the settings for the photo frame. Go to Settings -> select Picture Frame. As shown in the below screen shot you can change the transition effect between Dissolve and Origami. Set the interval time by selecting the Show each photo for option.
