Longest and darkest total lunar eclipse 2011

The longest and darkest total lunar eclipse of the century will occur on June 15 2011. This will be visible in Asia, Africa, South America and Europe . A lunar eclipse will occur when earth will directly line up between the Sun and the Moon and thus blocking the sun rays on the moon. This will be a central eclipse i.e the moon passes through the central line of the earth’s shadow. You can watch the Total Lunar Eclipse with out any special glasses or equipment as this will not harm your eyes like Solar Eclipse.
