Nokia 5800 after software update answer key not working

Software updates can either be done by downloading the software updater on the machine or by updating through the mobile. Best way to update your software is to do it through mobile via wifi. When you are done with updating latest software, you will see lot of changes.

For example when there is an incoming call you will not see the screen as it was before. There are only two options either to Answer or Unlock, these animations are good to see. Are you wondering if you tap the Answer button to pick the call and it is not working? This time you should not tap the Answer button instead sweep along the direction shown in the animation to pick the call.

The latest software version released for Nokia 5800 is 40.0.005. This software release brings the following features,

1. Improved touch screen usability.

2. Kinetic scrolling.

3. A new version of Ovi Maps 3.0 is also included, and the Ovi Contacts application has been added.

4. Improvements to WLAN performance.

5. Improved camera performance and response time.

This is just an example of some IT geek in Nokia controlling the business. It’s pathetic.

It is NOT intuitive to ‘sweep’ a button. It is intuitive to tap a button.

I missed 4 calls before I worked out that this was a ‘feature’.

Put it back to how it was IDIOTS!!!!

    well this update is rubbish!

1 when the phone rings and it flashes up answer so i press the screen and nothing happens???
2 that kinetic thing is garbage as you keep rolling past the person you want or when i go to roll it i end up clicking on it!!!
3 a * used to apear on the person that has sent you a text, i doesnt now though.

I agree absolute rubbish, missed loads of calls.

When you use the reminder and the alarm goes off and you try and stop it, not a chance phone does not respond at all.

    should of left it alone….
