Having problems with HTML Special Characters?

You will face problems while loading XML with HTML data. First we need to replace all the HTML special characters such as <, >, & and ” with &lt; &gt;, &amp; and &quot;. For example if you have the following XML element with html data

<CodeSnippet><a href=”http://blogmines.com”>Digital Answers</a></CodeSnippet>

it should be replaced with characters as shown below.

<CodeSnippet>&quot;a href=”&quot;http://blogmines.com&quot;&gt;Digital Answers&lt;/a&gt;</CodeSnippet>

If you have large amount of html data then manually replacing this characters would take time. Instead you can use a online tool for replacing HTML special characters.

This online tool also provides option to change those characters back to HTML entities.
