How to specify password length for users in Google Apps

Google Apps provides administrator with the option to specify the minimum and maximum password length allowed for the users. Administrators can define a common password policy for all the users in their organizations. The password settings can be changed using the Advanced Password Settings under Google Apps Domain Settings.

Login to Google Apps as an Administrator and click the Domain Settings tab then navigate to User settings sub tab.

In the User settings page, scroll down to Advanced Password Settings section and click the Adjust password settings link. The Advanced Password settings has an option for specifying Minimum and Maximum Password length for Google Apps users.

And if you want to check the existing users password length then click the Monitoring link. This would display the following details like the username, password length and strength and the last signed in time.
